menuOAWA: Germany Trip for U-17 to U-23 Women
The OAWA is excited to announce that we are planning an upcoming trip to Germany for our Women's Development Program. This opportunity is being extended to provide our top female athletes the chance to participate in an international competition and training camp alongside high-level European wrestling teams.
Tentative Schedule:
October 16: Depart from Toronto in the evening
October 17: Arrive in Berlin early morning and spend one night in Berlin
October 18: Travel to Frankfurt an der Oder for competition weigh-ins
October 19: Tournament in Frankfurt an der Oder
October 20 - 25: The training camp will feature teams from Germany, Sweden, France, Hungary, Poland, and possibly more, pending confirmation.
October 25: Spend the night in Berlin
October 26: Travel back to Toronto
Costs and Responsibilities:
Included in the Trip Cost: Accommodations, travel, tournament and camp registration, and food from October 18th to 25th.
Not Included: Athletes will be responsible for their own food expenses on October 16th, 17th, and 26th.
